History information

This is at Church Bay, in the crook of the island. There are 10 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-1918 war, (one Petty Officer and six unidentified men from H.M.S. "Viknor"; a stoker from H.M.S. "Racoon"; and two unidentified ratings of the Royal Navy washed ashore October and November, 1917). There are a further 2 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here. In addition there is 1 Italian Foreign National buried here.
