Location information

Wargnies-Le-Petit is a small village in the Department of the Nord, halfway between Valenciennes and Bavay on the D49. On the left hand side of the road is Wargnies-Le-Grand Churchyard and Wargnies-Le-Petit Communal Cemetery is on the right hand side of the road.

History information

This cemetery is within the area traversed by the British Expeditionary Force in August 1914, but was then occupied by the Germans until almost the end of the war. Wargnies-le-Petit Communal Cemetery contains 13 Commonwealth burials of the First World War.
