Location information

Viborg is a town in central Jutland about 40 kilometres west of Randers, which lies on the E45 main north-south motorway. From the Ringvej (N13) on the west of the town heading south turn left shortly after passing a water tower on the left into Skivevej. Turn right at the first roundabout into Rodevej and the cemetery is on the left hand side. From the Rodevej entrance follow the path past the chapel to the far boundary. Immediately before the boundary hedge turn right and follow the path alongside the hedge to the second path off to the right. The plot containing the two portland headstones is in the corner of this junction.

History information

Viborg Cemetery contains the grave of one Commonwealth airman of the Second World War. There is also one First World War burial, that of a released prisoner of war who died at the rest camp at Hald in December 1918.
