Location information

Skallerup is a village in the far north of Jutland near the western coast. Heading north on the E39, take the Hjorring exit turn and follow the main road 35 though Hjorring itself and at the roundabout on Lokkensvej turn right onto route 55 and then left onto Skallerupvej At the next crossroads turn right onto Norremollevej and follow this road until Skallerup Kirke can be seen on the left hand side. The single war grave lies on the left hand side of the church by the rear wall.

Skallerup Churchyard contains the grave of one Commonwealth naval casualty of the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
