Location information

Christiansborg, one of the main suburbs of Accra, is 3 kilometres east of the city on the main coast road. Christiansborg War Cemetery is on Castle Road, near the State Building, Accra International Conference Centre and Sports Stadium and Black Star Square. The civil cemetery is adjacent to Christiansborg War Cemetery.

Visiting information

Christiansborg Civil Cemetery is open Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 18:00.

History information

This cemetery contains the graves of one First World War casualty and five Second World War casualties. There are also three non world war casualties and one foreign national buried in this cemetery.
