Location information

Triaize is a commune in the Department of the Vendee situated some 65 kilometres north-east of Niort, 40 kilometres north of La Rochelle and 8 kilometres south of Lucon on the D746. During holiday season this road may be traffic-jammed due to the fact that it is the road leading to the sea. The cemetery is situated right in the middle of the commune. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here. Driver Smith's grave is easily found about 40 metres into the cemetery from the entrance in Grande Rue, and approximately 10 metres to the left of the main path.
