Location information

Palma is the main town and port of the Island of Majorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands. There are sea communications with Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante and other ports on the eastern coast of Spain. The main, or municipal cemetery, is about 2 kilometres north of the centre of the town. Buses run past the cemetery from the bus station in Plaza de España in the centre of the town. Visiting information

This cemetery is open daily between 8am and 12.30pm.

The one war grave will be found at niche 155 in the north wall, group D. The main entrance to the cemetery is in Camí de Jesús, but this particular niche is closer to the entrance in the street Camí de Ca L'Ardiaca, opposite the sports centre. GPS Co-ordinates 39.588611, 2.640555. On entry through the black iron gate, follow the wall of the building on the right to a staircase leading down. Niche 155 is to be found on the left, at the bottom of the stairs where they divide. GPS Co-ordinates of the Niche are 39.588609, 2.640175.
