History information

This churchyard contains four Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war; three (including two unnamed) are from the S.S. "Scottish Monarch," sunk by the guns of an enemy submarine on the 29th June, 1915, with the loss of 15 lives, 40 miles off the coast of County Cork. There are also three burials of the 1939-45 war.
