Location information

Bocklemünd is a district of the city of KÖLN (Cologne) in West Germany approx 30kms to the north of Bonn. From the A1 Köln to Koblenz motorway take exit 102 (Ausfahrt 102) KÖLN-BOCKLEMÜND and follow the B59 direction KÖLN-BOCKLEMÜND for approx 2kms. The main entrance to the Jewish Cemetery can be found on the left. The Commonwealth war graves are located approx 100m to the right of the main entrance. History information

The majority of First World War Commonwealth war graves in Germany were moved into four permanent cemeteries after the war. However, a few graves could not be moved on religious grounds or for other reasons and they remain in their original locations in German military and civil cemeteries.
