Location information

Muscat New Naval Cemetery, which is also known locally as Shaikh Jabar Cove (sometimes referred to as Eastern Cove or Cove Christian Cemetery), is located about one mile from the main town in a cove very close to the actual sea. It is accessible from both land and sea, but the land route is by way of an ill defined pathway down a very steep hill. If approaching by sea, the boat handler needs to be very skilled as the reef is protected by many rocks and a small coral reef.
