History information

The cemetery on the Muckross Abbey Estate, three miles South of Killarney, is administered by the Commissioners of Public Works. It contains the well preserved remains of a Franciscan Friary, which is a National Monument. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1914-1918 war here.
