Location information

The cemetery is situated adjacent to the Grootte Schuur hospital in the suburb of Observatory, which is located on the slopes of Table Mountain 5 kilometres south-east of Cape Town. Travel from the city centre in the direction of Wynberg on Main Road (M4), turn right into Browning Road and the entrance to the cemetery is on the left just as the road becomes one-way.

As it is extremely difficult to find the graves in this cemetery, it is necessary to consult the Secretary, CWGC South African Agency regarding the positions of the graves.
