Location information
The little town of Carignan is 36 kilometres south-east of Mezieres and some 19 kilometres south-east of Sedan, on the main road from Sedan to Montmedy. It is on the Paris-Luxembourg railway line. The Cemetery is on the eastern side of Carignan on the road to Les-Deux-Villes.
History information
In the southern part, about 18 yards east of the 1870 War Memorial, are buried seven airmen. Two of them belonged to the Royal Air Force and five to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
