HIRSON COMMUNAL CEMETERY - CWGC

Location information

Hirson is a town and commune on the main road (N. 39) from Arras and Cambrai to Mezieres. It is on a direct railway line from Paris and also on the Calais-Lille-Mezieres line. The communal cemetery is north-west of the town, on the N. 39 road. In the western part is a special plot in which are buried local French soldiers and civilians of the Resistance. In this plot are also the graves of four airmen of the Royal Air Force.
