History information

Nuku'alofa, situated on the north coast of Tongatapu Island, is the capital of Tonga, it was used as a naval and air base during the Second World War. Telekava European Cemetery contains one Commonwealth burial of the Second World War and a special memorial to a second casualty who is buried in Esiomoheofo Cemetery, Eua Island.
