Location information
Ilaro is a market town in the Western Region, 160 kilometres north-west of Lagos. It is the administrative centre of the Egbado Division of Abeokuta Province. The cemetery, situated on a hillside at the junction of Leslie and Barracks road, between the railway station and the Divisional Offices. Ilaro Prison is nearby.

History information
The cemetery contains the graves of 5 West African soldiers of the 1939-1945 War, each of which is centre filled with concrete, marked by a headstone and surrounded by a concrete kerb.
