Location information

Labeuvriere is a village and commune 20 miles (32 kilometres) north-north-west of Arras, and 6 kilometres west of Bethune. The latter town is on the Paris-Dunkirk and Abbeville-Lille railway lines and has the most convenient station for Labeuvriere. There is a good bus service through the village on the Bethune-Auchel route. The communal cemetery is about 250 yards from the main road through the village (the D.181 E road) in a by-road leading south from just beyond the Mairie and the village square. The British grave is near the eastern boundary of the cemetery, about 70 yards from the south-eastern corner.
