Location information

Varobacka is located in south-west Sweden, 56 kilometres south of Gothenburg. From the E6, turn off in the direction of Varobacka and follow this road to the village. In the village follow the signs to Varo K:A, go past the church and the cemetery is on the next corner. Follow the main path to the building and the one Commonwealth war grave of the Second World War is to the left of this building.

History information

Although Sweden retained her neutrality throughout the Second World War, a number of Commonwealth servicemen are buried there, most of them airmen who failed to return from bombing raids over Germany or German occupied territories. Varobacka Church Cemetery contains the grave of one Commonwealth airman of the Second World War.
